Free daylily for every guest. Chance to win one of several $100 daylilies or other prizes.
A celebration of over 200 varieties of daylilies and provides the visitor with a feast for both the eyes and ears. Held annually on the last weekend in June, the flowers provide a tapestry of multi-hued colors. Live music provided by talented local musicians and food vendors are also available. Take the Knoxville Center exit off I-640 (formerly the East Towne Mall Exit), go north onto Washington Pike 10 miles. Turn left onto Corryton Rd., go 2 miles and turn right onto Monday Rd., 1/4 mile to the garden.
Another route from Knoxville is to take I-40 East to the Rutledge Pike exit (Exit 392). Go right (north) 8 miles and turn left onto Roberts Rd. (just past the C&K Equipment Co. which is on the right). The 2nd stop sign is Washington Pike. Turn right and go 3 miles. Turn left onto Corryton Rd., go 2 miles and turn right onto Monday Rd., 1/4 mile to the garden.
